The Echo 2.0 (Echo 2) yoyo from Duncan is a very nice looking yoyo with the Professional Bearing for Professional plays and it has these nice groove rings that reduces friction for grind tricks. However this yoyo is very unresposive so it makes it hard for beginners but not for Professional players.
The Echo 2 features a straight profile with rounded edges, making for a much different feeling of play than its predecessor. However, the grooved catch zone from the original still exists to reduce friction on grind tricks.
Similarly to the Strix, the yo-yo's concave hubs are slightly hollowed out, to make finger spin tricks easier to pull off. It also features a KonKave bearing from Dif-e-Yo, along with silicone SG Sticker response for smooth, unresponsive play. Like with the original version of the Echo, the Echo 2 is compatible with the type of side caps as used by the FH Zero, and by extension, Performance Rings.
